These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Junto Emotion Wheel (the "Service") at juntoemotionwheel.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Junto Emotion Wheel is a personal journaling tool that helps you label and track the emotions you experience over time. The Service is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial reflective use.

Your account

Your content

You retain full ownership of the journal entries you create on the Service. We do not claim any rights to your content. We use only the access strictly necessary to store, retrieve, back up, and display your entries to you.

You may export or delete your content at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from such interruptions.

Modifications and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or expose the Service to legal risk. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your data before termination.

Intellectual property

The Service — including its name, design, code, content, and the emotion-wheel framework — is owned by The Junto Institute and its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal reflective practice.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

Junto Emotion Wheel is not a medical device, mental-health treatment, or substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will The Junto Institute, its affiliates, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the prior twelve months, or (b) USD 50.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold The Junto Institute harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
